Haven't done an outfit post in a little while, so I thought I'd treat you guys to yesterday's outfit ;)

I had originally wanted to wear the striped dress alone, but the seam of it has somehow twisted in the wash, so it looks odd when on and rides up at the back. I do however, really like it layered up underneath a plan black dress, I think it looks quite cute :) Teaming it with spotty tights, unphotographed brogues and my favourite waist belt to nip it in a little.

Black dress - H&M; Striped Dress - New Look; Tights - Primark; Belt - Vintage;
Jewellery - JWLRY, Sunken Rose, gifted; Chipped nails - Models Own Top Turquoise.

I think I may wear this with a chunky cream knit scarf and my big winter coat when I start my final year of uni on Monday. It's pretty daunting that it's rolled around so soon, I don't feel prepared in the slightest! I'll be alright though, just impatiently waiting for my loan to be approved into my account, frustrating as others have already been spending theirs :(

Just a quick question. has anyone else had posts from this blog pop up in their blog roll? It's appeared in mine for the past few days, yet when I check who I am following, it doesn't show up. They post about eight times in a row, it clogs up my box and I don't know what/who it is?!
I've already reported it as spam so I'm hoping it goes soon, I don't want to click on the blog itself incase it's a virus! D:

Aaanyway, I'm going to try and ignore that, catch up one everyone's posts from yesterday and then chill out watching Supernatural with a cuppa :)

If anyone has a Tumblr, please leave your link in a comment, or follow mine, I'm always on the look out for new ones to follow :) Warning, I do post a lot of wrestling photos, but there's something you're bound to like at one point!

Has anyone else started back at uni? Anyone in their first year and enjoying Freshers? :)

This is yesterday's post that didn't work, stupid laptop :/

Spent this weekend traveling to and having fun in Leeeeds :) Went with some friends to stay with our friend who moved there last year, I have a previous post in August from our first visit over there. This time we only stayed Saturday night, but she threw a house party and invited her uni and work mates which was really nice! We ended up all sat on the floor playing Ring of Fire. The punishment for if you broke the circle of cards or any of the rules made, you had to eat five TABLESPOONS of this orange vodka jelly - It was not pleasant but we soldiered on! Had a really good laugh, went for a pub lunch on Sunday before our coach home, I'll be uploading some photos when I get my film developed this week.

Also had our first Newsday in Online today, it was only a practise but I still feel we did really well. Each member in our group did about three stories each, we all managed to upload them onto Dreamweaver, and we were done with about ten minutes to spare.. Winners! :P
My outfit today's very bluuue and 99% from H&M, although I am really happy. It's so comfy, especially the slouchy top, which looks nicer in person. I think I need to buy some more jeggings too, as soon as I put them in the wash, I miss them. Is that sad?

Photos were taken once I was home from uni so the big light had to go on haha, I definitely look better when the sun's out!

I'm super happy too as when I got home from Leeds before crashing onto my bed with a cuppa and a KFC salsa twister, my dad had fixed my favourite ring. It's been broken for about six months and I was gutted, I bought it from
Flashback Boutique in Liverpool for about £4? It's gorgeous!

Shirt, vest, jewellery, jeggings - H&M; Green heart ring - Flashback Boutique; Nails - Barry M Indigo

I'm off to see Jack soon and have a lazy night watching the Back to the Future films, really excited ^_^ Then tomorrow I'm off uni so I'll hopefully finish my to-do list.

Nothing much to tell so far this week - been doing a lot of Shorthand so I can get my speed up as I'm lagging behind, but my poor wrist just doesn't want to move any faster! We're also working in groups to make magazines for Print, and I'm really excited to make it, as I made one on wrestling in A Level Media, and got an A ^_^ Ours is based around the Northwest music scene, but with fashion bits thrown in for variety.
We're currently just making page plans, as we have thirty pages to fill, plus finding adverts to use, but it'll be awesome when it's finished!
Saw my kosherpop Alex last night after what seemed like forever, we went to Maccies, both got large quarter pounder meals, six chicken nuggets, and then got cherry pies for back at his. My word, I love cherry pie I could have eaten seven! We played about on his fancy mac for abit before watching A Scanner Darkly. It's a really good movie, very clever, but the fact they've filmed it then solarized it so it looks cartoony totally threw me. But I'd suggest it if you like weird movies that make you think.

I'm seeing Jack tomorrow night, and we're going for food and then to see Gulliver's Travels. We're both huge fans of Jack Black (especially Tenacious D) so even if the movie itself isn't that good, we won't be that fussed as he's so funny.
I'll hopefully have time to chuck an outfit post of a quick photo of my nails tomorrow when I get home from uni.

I'm gonna make tea soon with the mother, we're cooking a healthy pasta bake, so it'll hopefully be like the one above which looks yummy, but with red onion, broccoli and tomatoes instead of red pepper. Wish me luck!

What have you all been doing this week? Any culinary hits?

This outfit is actually from Tuesday, only because I wore it to go the Wethers with some friends but I took photographs of it in the day after uni.
Jack says I look like a little sailor boy in it, but I love it :) I know I'm kinda late on the ol' Peter Pan collar trend, but I don't really care.

Top - New Look; Jeans - Primark; Jewellery - Anchor Rose/Vivienne Westwood/Dorothy Perkins/Handmade

Nothing to tell since my last post really. The person I complained about from uni in my last post hasn't shown up so today was nice and relaxed, no weird atmosphere! Went to town to pick up my lenses, and ym Specsavers has moved about four shops down... pretty weird :/ Plus the layout's totally confusing, I felt like an idiot asking at each desk if it was where I pick up lenses and being moved to the next one along.
Met up with Heather and Danni and we did abit of shopping too. I exchanged a top for some knee-high socks as mine have all gone bobbly in the wash, very sad times :(
Also got an intensive hair treatment as my ends are frazzled to death, a new foundation, St Ives scrub, a fantastic eye lash set for £1.99, and a Sleek nail varnish for £2.45 instead of like £5! I'll no doubt include these in a post sometime soon, when I can get decent photos again that is :)

I adore this necklace, it's hardly been off my neck all week and I've had so many compliments off it, people asking me where it's from, etc. I ordered it from the lovely Beth at Anchor Rose - she sells lots of cute little necklaces on her blog shop, it came really well wrapped and with a cute thank you note. Her blog is one I always look forward to reading, so please go have a peek :)

Lazy day, I love my lazy days ^_^ Was supposed to be helping a friend out with a uni project - she was going to be drawing her designs on our bodies, I was well excited for it especially when she said she'd be doing an Alice in Wonderland piece on my legs and maybe a phoenix on my chest. We've had to reschedule though, but I'll try and post some photos when we're done, she's really good at illustration/drawing :)

Tshirt, Skirt - H&M; Shirt, Belt - New Look; Jewellery - Vintage/Accessorize/Handmade.

-My tshirt is my second favourite item in my wardrobe at the moment (First being my penguin jumper, which I will hopefully do a post on later this week) I love cheesy tshirts like this! Jack has a Topgun one which I've got my eye on for when it starts to choke his pythons ^_^
I'm in my glasses and scruffy hair as I'm still off uni this week so I'm spending it in my jammies, watching Supernatural with noodles! I had to run some errands today so i threw this on.

-I'm not exactly looking forward to returning to uni after having a month off, so much I need to sort out! I need to get my Shorthand back on track, do a few assignments, and I need to reschedule my work placement, as I've just realised the days they've set me are after the deadline date :| I hate this! I'm hoping to get a different one through my friend, I'm yet to ask him for the favour, but it's for a place right by my house - much more convenient than training it to Southport at 8am!

-I'll be posting a few of my purchases from last week later tonight, and hopefully some photos from my girl's night out on Saturday, dreading to see what a mess I look!

This week's been kinda weird for me - I haven't had anything new or interesting to blog about if I'm perfectly honest. I don't wanna subject you guys to a boring post (I am aware that me blabbing on in this one contradicts that, but it's a one-off ^_^)

I'm stressing out due to the massive pile of uni work due in before we break up in
three weeks; this will fly past before I even realise! I'm having a meeting with some of the tutors on my course tomorrow, I'm pretty nervous but I'm hoping it will help me de-stress and feel better about my work.
Still haven't found a job - absolutely nobody wants me, even though I've got 3+ years of retail experience, they'd rather hire people who are fresh out of school (no offence if that's you, I'm just pissed off that noone's gotten back to me) Even companies that I've been for interviews at haven't let me know about the position, so I've given up, and I'm making a list of things I'll need over Christmas so I spend my money wisely. I have just placed an order with Victoria at VIPXO for a handful of the gorgeous Scrabble rings she makes - sorting out half of the presents for my bezzies :)

Anyway, I don't want to bore anyone with the dulcet tones that is my life, but please leave me a comment telling m
e how you spent your weekend; have you already bought Christmas presents? Any new winter goodies I should invest in?

Anyhoo, to brighten up this word infested post, I have some Polariods created using Polaroid camera software I came across on Charlotte's blog, You Were In A Dream I Had - have a peek!
As much as I adore my red Polaroid camera, I'm sick of sitting on Ebay trying to win film for it - if anyone knows of cheap places to get it, lemme know!

I've neglected this for the better part of a fortnight and for that you can slap my wrist. But due to returning to uni (second year only a week in is already twenty times more dramatic than first year!) and having one of the stupidest timetables ever. In short, my uni has had to stop running our Journalism course due to lack of funding and not having enough applicants - our class is down to just nineteen students! So we are the last year to be studying it in Edge Hill, you'd think that'd give us a somewhat leniant schedule, oh how wrong I was.
We're in everyday at 9 granted we finish at 12/1 each day bar Tuesday when we're in til 4. And we have Fridays off; although when we have essays and work due in it won't be as it's also our deadline day :|
But fingers and all possible limbs are crossed for a better timetable for our third and final year!

I must dash to my bed as I'm up when it's still dark to go back to the wonderful place for Online Journalism, hello useful connection :P Thus meaning that sometime soon (hopefully) I'll be able to post with lovely edited photos and have a well thought out blog style... A girl can dream :)
I'll leave you with a couple of songs I've been listening to a lot lately, especially when I'm relaxing; Jared's voice makes me melt!

Their cover of Kanye West's song, Stronger is so eerie, I love it.

Acoustic version of Modern Myth.

Despite the above photos of my lazy Sunday night, I've had a busy weekend yet again, so I've been unable to update or have a peek at anyone's latest posts, but I'll get round to that later tonight :)
The Sunday just gone was my last full day in work; my official last day's this Saturday, but I'm only working 11-3 so it's not that long a shift.
I've been at BHS for over three years, but my schedule for uni this year is more demanding than first year, so there's no way I can handle four days in uni, followed by two days in work, so I had to do something. Thankfully my boss was understanding and didn't mind as my uni work's clearly more important. She's also said there'll be a job waiting for me after I graduate, which is lovely of her. I know I'm gonna be pretty emotional on Saturday, especially with the people that I've known since I started there, I love them all!
Looking forward to having a big night out after payday though, should be fun! :)
I'm hoping to find a new job within the next month, even if it is just a temp job to tide me over Winter; just something with a couple of evening shifts so I can have my weekends back to go sho... I mean do my work properly, promise.

The Sunday before I go back to uni will be spent frantically panicking over the Shorthand outlines that've fallen out my head over the past four, five months, drinking copious cuppas and trying to remember the basic rules for Print. Nightmare!
So from Monday onwards I won't be posting as often as I have been over the holidays, but I'm gonna try and keep posting at least on a Friday, basically an update on my week, and a couple of outfit/haul posts to keep you guys interested!

Ooh alsoo, I cannot wait for 14 November - Deftones play Manchester, and I get to see my favourite band ever!
Seriously I can't believe just how excited I am to see them play live; I missed them play Liverpool in '07 and have been kicking myself ever since, until a new friend offered me a space in his "hardcoremobile" (car) to go see them! It won't be the same with Chi Cheng still recovering from his accident, but my god, it'll be sooo awesome!

Sorry for the fat amount of writing and me thinking I'm funny, but I'll try and get a quick post on what I bought in town today with Heather; nothing too exciting, but it pleased me!

Are any of you looking forward to going back to uni/school?

In the last week my room has been the messiest it's ever been.. didn't think it was posible. The drawer of my desk'sbeen hanging by a thread for about two weeks now, but it just fell to an untimely death Thursday night, as I was putting my shoes on to leave for Heather's gig. Not on ¬__¬
Tried to fix it with white tack Friday and I somehow snapped the actual frame of the drawer in half.

So yeah, it's broken and I'm avoiding telling Nige as it'll only end in a lecture. booo.

And despite procrastinating enormously this week, I'v enjoyed myself. Going into uni on my precious day off to edit the footage I should have edited on Friday may kill me slightly, brought it on myself though I guess...

Saw Jack on Wednesday night which was gorgeous. His bed is the comfiest thing I've ever been in; I hate it in the mornings, especially having to get up before 12 and walk to the station, craving bacon butties and mugs of tea :(
Thursday was a looong day in uni "Turn to the person next to you and discuss the term 'Celebrity' " NO.
Then a quick dash home and an outfit change before running for the train that I could have missed as Andri made me wait an extra 40(ish) minutes while she pranced down Bromlow Hill in wedges, crying on her face.
Such an inconvenience.
Heather's band played in Mojo, they were really good.. well next time a couple of them might wanna acknowledge which way the audience is so they don't look rude/potato stoopid with their backs to us. Went to BaaBar for a boogie and a Bakewell or three, stopped off at a 24hr cafe.
In all seriousness, that sausage butty at 2AM was the highlight of my night!

Neeeeed to do some work; if I fail my first year, I'm fleeing to Paris to work as a waitress in one of those quaint little cake shops, and get a sausage dog called Toby.

Sorry about me not looking like this..

Yeah yeah, In my dreams, I know, blah blah..

Today's been so majorly unmotivating, I fancy just sitting off in bed, watching HIMYM for the rest of this "working week."
Our Print teacher's leaving for brighter pastures (and by that, I mean Salford Uni) so we're all sat there, fingers, legs, arms, chairs, everything that can possibly be crossed is in some kind of weird pretzel cross, in the hopes that the Media dept. are too busy next week to hire someone to cover us until we break up.
There's approx. 5 actual weeks left, they may aswell not bother.
