So I'm back from Cornwall, relucantly as I just did not want to come home. I missed my friends/family, but I just wanted to stay away from my usual life a little while longer :(
Hopefully we'll be going back later this year, maybe in August with some friends to chill for a week or so. The drive there and back was nowhere near as bad as last time, as Jack drove us two with the dog in the back, and despite a minor hiccup at the start, with us ending up in Huyton after following his dad's car twin he did really well and I'm very proud of him considering it was his first proper drive :)
The weather was abit hit and miss, it was sunny everyday, but five out of seven days the wind was really strong, so it cancelled out the sun as it was pretty cold. But the last day was gorgeous, and we spent everyday on the beach with Jack and his brother surfing, he taught me how to skimboard, and I caught the littlest tan ever :') Spent Tuesday pottering round Newquay which was nice. Not much has changed round Perranporth but I think that's one of the reasons we love it so much, it's like our home from home; there's still the same waitress in Pickwicks, the same shop owners from years ago, the only things that have changed really is shop signs and a new cafe called The Cove which is really nice, worth checking out if you're ever round there.
We didn't take any photos this year due to the unpredictable weather, and whenever it was sunny we had forgotten to pack the camera just incase, ah well!

This is the only photo I got, on my phone hence the bad quality of the sunset from the second day. In reality it was a gorgeous deep orange that filled the sky, my photo doesn't do it justice but you get the jist.

I'm hoping to get back on track this week with my posts, mabe throw a few new regulars in the mix, see what you all think? Tomorrow I'll do a quick Week in photos from before I left.

Are any of you going on holiday? If so, where? :)
I'm supposed to be sunning it up next week in Bodrum, Turkey with my best friends, but my passport has been a nightmare, it's taken about five months so far and it's still not sorted!
So if anyone in Liverpool either works in or knows someone who works in the Passport Office in town, help me out please, I need it! :D

Short hiatus

Hey guys, just a quick post to say although I've been slacking on the posts the last couple of weeks, I won't be posting anything this coming week as I am going to Cornwall tomorrow morning for a well deserved break! :) I'm really excited to go, but first I have to pop to Wigan tonight and see Jack's last match for a little while.

Hope you all enjoy this gorgeous heat while it lasts, see you next Saturday! :)

Week (and a bit) in Photos

It's been about a fortnight, I know, I know. But uni's nearly over, just got a few bits to pull through next week and I'm finished until October, and I'm all yours :)

- After I tore apart my old rickety desk, my new one is up but I'm yet to take a photo of it, so bear with me if you're actually interested haha. It feels really nice to sit properly instead of lounging on my bed with my laptop all the time, makes me feel more productive I guess?

- Me in my Catastrophe Cosmetic mask from Lush. It's gorgeous, smells of bluberries and leaves my skin really soft and less red. Only down side is when it's drying, it goes slightly powdery, but I can live with it.

- The newsagents by mine sells huuge bags of my favourite M&M's for £1.50, guess who's getting all my spare pennies from now on?
- What I've been flicking through this week, having finished reading Strangers by Dean Koontz - he's such a talented thriller/sci fi writer, worth checking out!

- Movies I have/am going to watch this week. Already watched 40 Y-O Virgin and The Incredibles, plan to watch the modern Romeo & Juliet and maybe Ed Wood later tonight.

- Heather got a car for her 21st, we named it Tracey Beeper! haha awesome name :')
We drove up to Ormskirk to do some stuff at uni and had a look for stuf for her house party on Saturday. Picked up the shoes below for £19.99 in New Look, they're so comfy on, I love the chunky heel.

- The awesome cupcakes my mum's friend made for Heather, they looked gorgeous and tasted yummy.
And the stand they're on was handcrafted by Hope in my lean-to, with a stereo box, cellotape and silver spray paint. I supervised and made the tea ^_^

A couple of photos from her 21st house party and we then ventured into town for flavoured tequila, ridiculous dancing and sweaty times in The Krazyhouse. Such a fun night, everyone was really drunk, but thankfully no nasty drunks :P

Also I'm currently updating my Ipod for some summer tunes and for when we go to Cornwall in two weeks. Any fun/relaxing songs I should download?

Follow my blog with bloglovin

Just a quick outfit post before I start some revision for my Law exam, procrastinating as much as I possibly can!
This outfit's from a few weeks back, but I love it and I know I'll be wearing it a lot this Summer.

I've also signed up to Bloglovin tonight, hopefully be easier to find new blogs via this, so add me if you wish and let me know if you have it :)

I would apologise for not posting anything for about three weeks, but it seems everyone is in pretty much the same boat. I have had exams to revise for that I'm terrified I'm going to fail. I am still on my work placement which means me getting up at stupid o'clock to get to Southport, and arriving home late. I've had 6,000 words to type up for production logs and a 30 page magazine to do between myself and my friend since nobody else in the group was bothered to even help.
As well as this marvellous heap of work to plough through, my computer crashed last Thursday for no obvious reason and all of my work, photographs are gone, I've lost everything on it so forgive me if I seem a little peeved right now.
I've also lost a couple of followers, which is fine I'm not that bothered, but people must realise that everyone has a life and things to work through as well as having a blog.
I am taking the rest of this week to sort of relax and see my friends and go watch Jack wrestle, which I don't have to justify as I've never been one to post everyday as I would run out of things to show you pretty fast! But I will be back shortly for the few who read this :)

For now, have some of the songs I've been listening to this week:

Week in Photos

This hasn't been the best of weeks, I won't delve into it for obvious reasons, but I've had a really tough time dealing with some personal issues. Finished uni for Easter, which is such a relief, but the bad news is I'm still on my placement, which I'm trying to complete as soon as I can!
Couldn't be happier we've had gorgeous weather this weekend, so nice to be able to go out without a coat or scarf on!
Going to Splashworld in Southport with Jack and some friends tomorrow, we haven't been in years so it should be fun :)

Went to the Salthouse with my mum and Jay for tapas - yummiest thing ever, we ordered soo much! Their potato bravas is amazing.

- More products I have used up this month, not doing too badly!

Recieved my first Graze box this week, it all went in the first two days. I loved everything apart from the wasabi peanut crackers, but I can give them to my dad next time.
Get your first box free by using my code -

- Spending lazy afternoons destroying "share size" bags of Kettle Chips and watching Jersey Shore.

- Bought a couple of bracelets and a headband from H&M, just something cheap to cheer myself up.

- More books to read. I love American Psycho and The Talented Mr Ripley as movies, and Chris Jericho is one of my all-time favourite wrestlers, gonna enjoy reading this.

- On our placement, Rob & I went to Martin Mere to interview them about their new canoe ride, and got to have a go ourselves - so funny! Had a potter round the rest too, the otters are so cute.

- Spent last night in Heather's back garden with chippy and drinking cider and Cosmopolitan from a can, the height of class!

Two songs I love at the moment, especially LFMAO's. We were playing it at Heather's last night, definitely getting us in the mood for the Turkey holiday! :D

Counting down the days

This is definitely my lazy way of keeping up with posting, but I cannot wait for June to come round. I know it's silly to wish time away, but over the next two months I have a lot of things I wish I didn't have to do. Mainly job hunting, completing my work placement and doing the god awful presentation to accompany it - I am alright at speaking to groups when I'm comfortable with said people, but I do not like the tutor in charge of the work placement assignments, I don't even like walking past him in the corridor. We had to do presentations every Tuesday last year with him, and I still hate them, didn't help at all :/

But enough rambling, I'm dedicating this post to my second home, Cornwall, mainly Perranporth.
I'm going back there early June with Jack and his family. This will be the fourth time we've gone, and I'm yet to get bored of the place.
It's just so beautiful - the beaches are gorgeous, the sea is clear, the beach we go to has a pub on it - how cool is that! And everyone's so relaxed and just takes each day as it comes. I'd love to own either a crafts or surf shop there, or a little tea room by the beach. I'm pretty jealous of the lucky Sam who lives in Cornwall, and as you'll see from her posts, always has a lovely smile on her face :)

The following are photos either myself or Jack have taken - please don't take them without asking first!

Can't leave a holiday post without adding a little cheery music. Jack Johnson's Banana Pancakes is one of my favourite songs, so relaxing and happy :)

Do you have somewhere you consider a "second home"? :)
