Week in Photos

This hasn't been the best of weeks, I won't delve into it for obvious reasons, but I've had a really tough time dealing with some personal issues. Finished uni for Easter, which is such a relief, but the bad news is I'm still on my placement, which I'm trying to complete as soon as I can!
Couldn't be happier we've had gorgeous weather this weekend, so nice to be able to go out without a coat or scarf on!
Going to Splashworld in Southport with Jack and some friends tomorrow, we haven't been in years so it should be fun :)

Went to the Salthouse with my mum and Jay for tapas - yummiest thing ever, we ordered soo much! Their potato bravas is amazing.

- More products I have used up this month, not doing too badly!


Recieved my first Graze box this week, it all went in the first two days. I loved everything apart from the wasabi peanut crackers, but I can give them to my dad next time.

- Spending lazy afternoons destroying "share size" bags of Kettle Chips and watching Jersey Shore.

- Bought a couple of bracelets and a headband from H&M, just something cheap to cheer myself up.


- More books to read. I love American Psycho and The Talented Mr Ripley as movies, and Chris Jericho is one of my all-time favourite wrestlers, gonna enjoy reading this.


- On our placement, Rob & I went to Martin Mere to interview them about their new canoe ride, and got to have a go ourselves - so funny! Had a potter round the rest too, the otters are so cute.

- Spent last night in Heather's back garden with chippy and drinking cider and Cosmopolitan from a can, the height of class!

Two songs I love at the moment, especially LFMAO's. We were playing it at Heather's last night, definitely getting us in the mood for the Turkey holiday! :D

Week in photos

- Been rewatching yet more Supernatural - Dean's such a babe, "I call this one 'Blue Steel' "
- Also on the pile has been The Proposal and Two Weeks Notice - Sandy B is hilarious


- Products I've been able to use up over the past fortnight - some weren't on my original list but I rediscovered some bits and bobs that were half full.
- More books to read and re-read - I love the hardback/gold cover of my Dorian Gray.
- Been bringing out the ol' cd's this week too - Michael Jackson, The Sounds, Tenacious D and 30 Seconds to Mars.

- A better/clearer photo of my newly done poster wall.
- Two tops I ordered from New Look this week to wear tucked into denim shorts when it's nice and hot out. I'm undecided on the American flag one at the moment, but wore the black one for my cousin's birthday meal.

- The lovely Hayley sold me her spare copy of The Humming Bird Bakery Book. She reccommends the Mojito cupcakes which I'm excited to try, along with the Butterscotch Marshmallow bars, nom!

- Current nails - Barry M Blueberry Ice Cream/Shatter top coat. I'm pretty late on this trend but I love it
- The black top I mentioned above in action, apologies for the crap blurry photo, was the best of the bunch. I've also dyed my hair a dark browny red which you can sort of see in the photo too

- This is me and Danni having a boogie at our friend Heather's gig. It was the first gig of her new band, My Awakening, and I'm very proud of her, they did really well, especially when they were a cheery pop/rock band in amongst metal bands with huge guys

Sorry I've been absent the last week or so, quite abit has happened, I'm gonna post a short rundown and then some photos from my last few nights out :)
Basically, I went out on Saturday for my best friend Danni's 21st, and somehow lost my phone. I don't know how or when, but I got really pissed off at myself cos I never ever lose anything like that, not even my keys! I didn't go home cos we were having loads of fun, but I got it blocked the next morning, and they agreed to put me on a contract and send me a new phone.

We went to The Flute to meet her uni friends, then onto Cafe Tabac which is small but does a mean rum cocktail - it's deadly! Then onto the Krazyhouse where we met up with her twin brother and our other friends, had an awesome time :)

My new phone came pretty quickly - It was sitting on the hall table when I got home from uni yesterday, which really cheered me up! It's the compact version of the Motorola Flipback, which is a tiny touch screen square, with a flipout qwerty keyboard. I'll post a photo soon, it's really cute :)

I'm currently sat on my bed, doing uni work and shorthand with SATC in the background, trying really hard not to get distracted and just play with my phone :')
I'm hoping to have sorted a load of clothes to put up on my blog sale by Friday, so keep an eye out for that :)

Not my typical post, but I haven't taken any outfit photos this past week, just photos of odds and sods round my room, not overly interesting but I hope you enjoy anyway :)

- Hanging ornaments and light catchers
- My small (but growing!) selection of Momiji and Kimmi dolls; a penguin toy and keyring Jack made me ^_^ and a creepy toy from Home Bargains. She's called Poppy and nods or shakes her head when you ask a question.
- Me looking slightly worse for wear after uni yesterday, sippin' on some strawberry tea
- Current nail varnish; Barry M Limited Edition. It's gorgeous but my nails have all chipped from typing away for about four hours in the Newsday.
- Finally got round to putting my calendar up and writing my dates on it, etc. It's so cute, I'll have to show you all each photo every month :)
- My baby, Hippy. He's usually camera shy but he was posing for me today haha
- A woolen figure my Auntie and Uncle got me from Jamaica; they bought it from a guy on the beach just making them. I love it but it's terribly dusty!
- The amazing 3D-esque photo Jack again made me from our Cornwall photos (L)
- I love my photo wall so much, it's got so many funny photos on it; e.g top left corner is my BFF Hope eating eggy soup 'seductively' haha. And my dreamcatcher and poster to the right are pretty cool.

This is me trying to show off my new dark hair - I haven't had it this dark for soo long, I love it!

I'm feeling pretty bad that I haven't posted anything new and exciting for over a week; I blame uni and the joys/stresses of Journalism, I just haven't stopped!
We have two court readings to do in Reading Week, but me and my friends have decided we'd rather do it next Friday, so we can relax in Reading Week instead!
Also, I got myself a job interview on the 2nd November! I'm really happy, especially as I only handed my cv in there on a whim, I'm just hoping the hours available will be flexible enough for me :)

Anyway, It's my birthday on the 1st November, and I'm turning 21! So I may be feeling generous enought o do a little giveaway for you lovely ladies over that week! It will only be something small, but will include my HG items, especially for the Winter :)
I have remembered to take some outfit photos this week, so I actually have some pretty photos for you guys to awh over haha
