#137 - May Project 10 Pan

Now before I get any comments telling me I've miscounted, I knooow there's only eight items in the photo below, but in just the past few months I've used up loads of products, so I don't feel the need to choose ten each month, just however many I feel I can do.
These posts always seem to be the most popular when I peek at my stats, which I'm really glad about as it gives me a small (and sad) sense of pride doing them each month!
I know I'm very late on this one, but I completely forgot to post this earlier, it's been sat in my drafts for weeks, sorry guys!

John Frieda/Superdrug hair conditioners - I have about four of these sat in my drawers from the times I've dyed my hair at home. I do like these conditioners, they do their job very well, I just like others much better. I will use up at least two tubes though, I've nearly finished the white one so I should do it.

ELF Cream Eyeliner - Again, I really like this product, but I find liquid liners easier to use, simply because if I make a mistake with liquid, it's easy enough to amend, but it's much harder to remove and reapply this on my lid, and I don't like being too heavy-handed on my eyes. I think I'll use it up on days/nights when I can take my time applying my makeup.

Next Pink perfume - I got this in a set at Christmas and I love the smell, it's floral and fresh without being too heavy on the ol' nostrils. Again I put in the a drawer in favour of Flowerbomb and Naughty Alice, how naughty of me! It's a great Summer scent though, and I'll probably take it to Cornwall with me.

TBS Grapefruit Body Butter - I've had this a while and I do like it, it's very moisturising and sinks in relatively quickly, but the smell lingers longer than I'd like. I'll be using this before bed to nourish my legs.

S&G Flake Away - I love this scrub, but I currently have this tub which is half full, and another huge tub untouched! So I'm using it every other shower to get my body (mainly legs) beach-ready. But this scrub is bloody brilliant!

Lush Cynthia Sylvia Stout - This is a great clarifying shampoo that contains stout beer, so your hair is much more shiny and it adds weight and volume to finer hair.

Rimmel Clear Complexion powder in transparent - Nothing much to say about this, it's just what i use to set my makeup, but I realised I have two half-used, so I need to use up one because it's driving me bananas! But it does the job, think it was either £4-5 so it doesn't break the bank either.

What products are you trying to use up this month?

#134 - mini haul

Just a couple of little bits I picked up whilst exchanging some jeggings in Primark - has anyone else noticed that their jeggings sizes are really odd as of late? I picked up a size 8 in black and a size 6 in blue, the size 6 were bigger than the 8! It might just be my Primark with a dodgy batch, but it really annoyed me. Thankfully managed to swap both pairs for a size 10, so my legs are no longer being strangled.

(also apologies if the photos look a tad overexposed, I tried to fix it in PS but had no such luck)

I ran out of my current foundation (Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hr) and saw this as the perfect opportunity to try out the new Bourjois one. Boots currently have it on offer for just £6.99 so it's a steal. I have only tried it out this morning, but I really like it. It covers all red marks, the coverage is about medium but buildable, smells lovely and the colour is perfect for me, which with only five or six shades to choose from, is something I was a little weary about.

I have actually finished my first bottle of Catwalk Couture as I've worn it non-stop the last few months; as it's Fast Finish it is really quick drying, only needing one coat for it to be opaque.

I got Pink Lemonade purely because I thuoght I would be a cute pastel shade for the Summer.
I picked up a floral/Hawaiian top for just £6 as I needed another top to wear in work, this is perfect.
I saw these dresses on Emily's blog, and knew I had to get at least one. so I got two... to be honest I would have gotten three if my local Primark had had the blue one in stock, maybe next time, at £6 a pop I can afford to look slightly mental buying the same dress three times :P
They do come up a little short though, so I may go back and swap them for a size 10 if it is longer at all. Don't really fancy unkowingly flashing people in the Summer.
I spotted the spotty number (I'm so hilarious) as soon as I minced into the shop, it's my ideal Summer dress - spotty, no sleeves, mid-thigh length and the material's very light and stretchy - all for a tenner, I could not and did not want to put it back down. Jack also really likes it which is always a Brucey bonus!

I'm currently sat in my comfy pants, with a cuppa, attempting to stream a half-decent copy of The Hunger Games before I have my tea. I did go and see it the other week with Hope, it was bloody brilliant and certain scenes were exactly like I imagined when reading the book. Cannot wait for the second one to be released next year.

This is me trying to show off my new dark hair - I haven't had it this dark for soo long, I love it!
Sorry for the daft photo, my mouth looked funny :')

I'm feeling pretty bad that I haven't posted anything new and exciting for over a week; I blame uni and the joys/stresses of Journalism, I just haven't stopped!
We have two court readings to do in Reading Week, but me and my friends have decided we'd rather do it next Friday, so we can relax in Reading Week instead!
Also, I got myself a job interview on the 2nd November! I'm really happy, especially as I only handed my cv in there on a whim, I'm just hoping the hours available will be flexible enough for me :)

Anyway, It's my birthday on the 1st November, and I'm turning 21! So I may be feeling generous enought o do a little giveaway for you lovely ladies over that week! It will only be something small, but will include my HG items, especially for the Winter :)

I have remembered to take some outfit photos this week, so I actually have some pretty photos for you guys to awh over haha
I've been loving my dark floral dresses this week, so comfy under a cardigan with my chunky boots and socks!

Cardigan - Matalan; Dress, Tights - New Look

I found this after my friend Frannie suggested it on her blog, I love it even though it looks huge on me here, I promise it looks good in person!

As sad as it seems, within ten minutes of H&M launching online, I was on the website quicker than a tramp on hot chips.
I've always loved H&M, the majority of my wardrobe is from there, so it only makes sense that I use the website as often as possible.
However, when I came to purchasing on the website, it kept stopping me for some reason; I don't know if you can only buy using a credit card or what, but it annoyed me - has anyone else had this problem or is it just me?

So I popped into the shop on my way home from work Saturday, and spotted the bracelets I'd been eyeing up on the website, obviously I'd rather have them sooner than later; and I spied a gorgeous pocket watch necklace - it's only a sticker, not a real clock, but for £2.99 I can't complain!

Bracelets - £1.99, Necklace - £2.99

The bracelets are gorgeous, they have little sparkly gems in some of the "charms", and some are heart-shaped. They're a little big for my childish wrists, but clipping them together seems to work well.
The necklace has a pretty ornate design scratched into it, giving it an old-fashioned feel, almost like a pocket watch.

In Superdrug they had Amor Amor by Cacharel for just £12.99, with student discount it came to about £10. I've been after this perfume for ages, and while it's not exactly a big designer name, it smells better than most I tried out.
The bottle's so dinky and I love the tiny black flower sketched into the back of it.

Finally, in Boots I remembered I had the £5 No. 7 voucher from my mum, and when nothing really caught my eye I saw the huge range of lipsticks they had.
The assistant didn't seem all that bothered to help me - possibly because I'd been caught in the rain so my hair was atrocious, had my grey hoody and work uniform on, so I definitely stood out from the other well groomed and polished customers around the stand :|
I couldn't be bothered waiting to beg her to help me, so I covered my hand in swatches, and picked my favourite, which was "Pink Crush" from the Moisture Drench collection.

It goes on a deep fuschia, maybe a little too bright for my pale features, so when I wear it out I'll tone it down with nude lipgloss ontop.
I was hoping to get a nude colour, but they didn't have any in my branch, so if anyone has one that they would like to swap for mine, please send me an email :)

What have you been snapping up with the No. 7 vouchers?

A quick trip to town with Heather & Andri before Leeds tomorrow! Our train's at half 11, but it's only about an hour & a half away, meaning we get about two & a half days with Donna :)

Since I ran out of my Lee Stafford Hair Growth cream last month, it hadn't occurred to me to nip out and re-stock, and hearing that Boots currently have a 3 for 2 on most skincare products, I couldn't help myself, but I induldged in a little (or a lot, depending on how you see it) of the Soap & Glory products.

I was first introduced to S&G by a friend at work, who got me this gorgeous travel set for my Secret Santa present. I still adore the travel bag; it's so pretty!

Inside were travel-size products - Hand Food, Hair Supply conditioning masque, Girligo moisturising mist, Clean on Me body wash, The Righteous Butter, and Flake Away body scrub (which is currently in the bathroom)

I still have a good amount of each product, even though I use The Righteous Butter and Girligo almost everyday.

I've heard good things about Heel Genius, and Scrub Your Nose In It, so picked those up. For my third item, I went straight for a big tub of The Righteous Butter; so I knew I had enough to last me... and saw this set of three instead.

Considering they're currently £9.79 each on the Boots website, you'd be daft not to pick up the set of three! They all smell so yummy too, I can't wait to use them later!

Over the past six months or so I've also picked up a huge Clean On Me as I love the smell of it, and how soft it makes your skin, so my S&G collection's pretty big right now; I'm tempted to keep it all out like this - I love the kitsch pink packaging so much!
