Yes, it's been a long, loong time since I graced you with my presence on here.
In all honesty I've gone through some personal issues this past month and just haven't felt inspired to blog or share any part of my life with you lovely lot. I hope you appreciate that I'd rather blog about something I'm interested in rather than seeing it as a chore and only blogging because I feel I have to.

I feel much better now I've had a little break, and I should be able to keeep up blogging at least twice a week; I'm going to keep putting up my Monthly Favourites & Empties posts as they seem to be the most favoured lately, but will be including more nail of the week posts, and I've moved my room around (by myself might I add - call the doctors cos these swans are sick! *flexes*) so there's more space for activities/outfit posts too, I've actually missed doing those!

Well this has been a long time coming; an outfit post from me in what I can only assume has been months, slap my wrist! I have today's outfit for you as I came home from Jack's a few hours ago, really liked my attire so thought I may aswell bite the bullet and show you guys :)

I bought this anchor top from blog sale lovely Lyzi was holding a good few months ago for a bargainous price. I already have a dress in similar material, but I saw it in top form and had to have it. Why I've only just gotten round to posting about it I really don't know, as I wear it a lot, so comfy and cute!
I'm also slightly in love with the ring and necklace I'm wearing. I love the aztec trend especially in jewellery, and I couldn't resist this stag head necklace, especially for just £3.99!
I also don't know why I look rather tanned in some photos and then whiter than white in others; I blame the blasted clouds! I know I'm not the only one who wishes is was just lovely and sunny all the time instead of being a mixed bag!

Haven't done an outfit post in a little while, so I thought I'd treat you guys to yesterday's outfit ;)

I had originally wanted to wear the striped dress alone, but the seam of it has somehow twisted in the wash, so it looks odd when on and rides up at the back. I do however, really like it layered up underneath a plan black dress, I think it looks quite cute :) Teaming it with spotty tights, unphotographed brogues and my favourite waist belt to nip it in a little.

I think I may wear this with a chunky cream knit scarf and my big winter coat when I start my final year of uni on Monday. It's pretty daunting that it's rolled around so soon, I don't feel prepared in the slightest! I'll be alright though, just impatiently waiting for my loan to be approved into my account, frustrating as others have already been spending theirs :(

Just a quick question. has anyone else had posts from this blog pop up in their blog roll? It's appeared in mine for the past few days, yet when I check who I am following, it doesn't show up. They post about eight times in a row, it clogs up my box and I don't know what/who it is?!

I've already reported it as spam so I'm hoping it goes soon, I don't want to click on the blog itself incase it's a virus! D:

Aaanyway, I'm going to try and ignore that, catch up one everyone's posts from yesterday and then chill out watching Supernatural with a cuppa :)

Just a quick outfit post from Thursday afternoon. I went to the Wethers with my friend Danni and had somewhat of a 'fashion block' if you will. It was too hot for jeans, but too breezy for a vest or something more daring. I opted for an old favourite that hardly sees the light of day, only because I can only really pair it with black.
This outfit's nothing to rave about, but I do like it :) to keep it simple I wore my Deathly Hallows necklace and a couple of rings and bracelets.

Please excuse my hacked-off facial expressions, and my eyebrows which are looking rather angular :/
And excuse my nails! I tried to do something minorly interesting with them, but sadly it turned out quite wonky and it peeled off two of my nails the same day! Not happy so I'm looking forward to my Model's Own order finally arriving so I can be more adventurous, if my shaky hands will allow it :)

I apologise for being absent on this for about a fortnight, I just haven't taken any photos when I've been doing things, and all text posts aren't that appealing to look at. I am more active on Twitter and Tumblr though, so if you fancy having a chat you're best getting me on either of them :)
Some things that have happened this week include - catching up on the wrestling from last week, going to Formby beach last minute and then devouring massive fajita meals at a pub - they were neverending! Going on a late night drive with some friends, hoping to just sit at Crosby beach and chat, but instead accidentally intrude on some eagers doggers, oops.

My room's pretty messy right now, currently packing for a little holiday on Monday. We're going to stay in our friend's cottage in Wales until Friday, can't wait! It's right near Mt Snowdon so we're thinking of climbing it and getting some good photos while we're there, and there's a barn on the grounds, so we're taking lots of stuff to have a barn rave haha

Apologies for the scruffy hair, my Tangle Teeze hasn't dried from me cleaning it before, which was the most frustrating 20 minutes of my life.
I practically live in this playsuit, it's so comfy I wear t with everything. The above is my favourite combo though, just slouchy but not too casual. My wolf/dreamcatcher vest still has tea stains from ages ago which won't come out so this is the best way to wear it for now.

These are two of my favourite products at the moment - Flowerbomb by Victor Rolf is the perfume I bought in Turkey and it just smells like Summer, it's quite strong when first sprayed, but once it settles down it's gorgeous, very pretty, it a perfume can smell pretty? I don't quite know!

I got this Charles Worthington Repair and Protect hair serum yesterday in Home Bargain for just £1.99 - if you live near this shop please go in and check it out for hair products before you go to Boots, etc as it is a hell of a lot cheaper! And you can get Creme Egg twister bars for 39p, yum! But this product is really good, you just apply a couple of pumps to your hair after washing, focusing on the ends, and it keeps your hair smooth and looking healthy. It's similar to the VO5 Miracle Concentrate but I cannot find that anywhere, so this wil do for now :)

Just a quick post today, I'll hopefully do another before the weekend, no pinky promises on that though! Still not feeling too hot, but I'm excited for either chicken chow mein or something yummy with hash browns for my tea, hopefully followed by some pancakes ala Mother Hignett :)

Spent yesterday feeling so crap, did a little bit of work, and had to go the Post Office today and send off some Amazon sales and pick up something to eat.

Popped the shop on my way home to give myself a pick-me-up, grabbed Glamour mag with the mild liquid facial soap, sounds ideal for my temperamental skin so I'll let you know how it works out.
Also some food, I am a fatty so this will be demolished in about an hour, I often ignore the "Made to share" on food (the duck wrap was gone as soon as I got home)

my ELF package was here when I got back, perked me right up! I got a blush in Blushing Rose, Lip Primer & Plumper, matt top coat varnish and a lip stain in Heartbreaker. Again I'll try all of them out and possibly do a quick post sometime soon.

This is my baby, my new phone. It's taken some getting used to, being an actual square and all, but I love it. The charge isn't perfect, but it's an EcoMoto so I think I need to adjust the settings or something?
Downloaded loads of funny games and got all my shortcuts, etc set out, it's pretty snazzy once I got used to not hanging up on people using my face :')

This is yesterday's post that didn't work, stupid laptop :/

Spent this weekend traveling to and having fun in Leeeeds :) Went with some friends to stay with our friend who moved there last year, I have a previous post in August from our first visit over there. This time we only stayed Saturday night, but she threw a house party and invited her uni and work mates which was really nice! We ended up all sat on the floor playing Ring of Fire. The punishment for if you broke the circle of cards or any of the rules made, you had to eat five TABLESPOONS of this orange vodka jelly - It was not pleasant but we soldiered on! Had a really good laugh, went for a pub lunch on Sunday before our coach home, I'll be uploading some photos when I get my film developed this week.

Also had our first Newsday in Online today, it was only a practise but I still feel we did really well. Each member in our group did about three stories each, we all managed to upload them onto Dreamweaver, and we were done with about ten minutes to spare.. Winners! :P
My outfit today's very bluuue and 99% from H&M, although I am really happy. It's so comfy, especially the slouchy top, which looks nicer in person. I think I need to buy some more jeggings too, as soon as I put them in the wash, I miss them. Is that sad?

Photos were taken once I was home from uni so the big light had to go on haha, I definitely look better when the sun's out!

I'm super happy too as when I got home from Leeds before crashing onto my bed with a cuppa and a KFC salsa twister, my dad had fixed my favourite ring. It's been broken for about six months and I was gutted, I bought it from Flashback Boutique in Liverpool for about £4? It's gorgeous!

This outfit is actually from Tuesday, only because I wore it to go the Wethers with some friends but I took photographs of it in the day after uni.
Jack says I look like a little sailor boy in it, but I love it :) I know I'm kinda late on the ol' Peter Pan collar trend, but I don't really care.

Nothing to tell since my last post really. The person I complained about from uni in my last post hasn't shown up so today was nice and relaxed, no weird atmosphere! Went to town to pick up my lenses, and ym Specsavers has moved about four shops down... pretty weird :/ Plus the layout's totally confusing, I felt like an idiot asking at each desk if it was where I pick up lenses and being moved to the next one along.
Met up with Heather and Danni and we did abit of shopping too. I exchanged a top for some knee-high socks as mine have all gone bobbly in the wash, very sad times :(
Also got an intensive hair treatment as my ends are frazzled to death, a new foundation, St Ives scrub, a fantastic eye lash set for £1.99, and a Sleek nail varnish for £2.45 instead of like £5! I'll no doubt include these in a post sometime soon, when I can get decent photos again that is :)

I adore this necklace, it's hardly been off my neck all week and I've had so many compliments off it, people asking me where it's from, etc. I ordered it from the lovely Beth at Anchor Rose - she sells lots of cute little necklaces on her blog shop, it came really well wrapped and with a cute thank you note. Her blog is one I always look forward to reading, so please go have a peek :)

Lazy day, I love my lazy days ^_^ Was supposed to be helping a friend out with a uni project - she was going to be drawing her designs on our bodies, I was well excited for it especially when she said she'd be doing an Alice in Wonderland piece on my legs and maybe a phoenix on my chest. We've had to reschedule though, but I'll try and post some photos when we're done, she's really good at illustration/drawing :)

I'm in my glasses and scruffy hair as I'm still off uni this week so I'm spending it in my jammies, watching Supernatural with noodles! I had to run some errands today so i threw this on.

-I'm not exactly looking forward to returning to uni after having a month off, so much I need to sort out! I need to get my Shorthand back on track, do a few assignments, and I need to reschedule my work placement, as I've just realised the days they've set me are after the deadline date :| I hate this! I'm hoping to get a different one through my friend, I'm yet to ask him for the favour, but it's for a place right by my house - much more convenient than training it to Southport at 8am!

-I'll be posting a few of my purchases from last week later tonight, and hopefully some photos from my girl's night out on Saturday, dreading to see what a mess I look!

Haven't done an outfit post in quite some time, so thought I'd show you what I wore to Jack's last night. (I cheated and took these about an hour ago as I didn't have time to last night, explaining why my face and hair isn't exactly up to scratch!)
I'm quite proud of myself for having the time to do several posts this week, but as I explain further down, I won't have much time this coming week to post, so this is to make up for that I suppose :)

I ordered this top off the H&M online sale, and it's gorgeous, so comfy even though the material's super-thin. It's more than long enough to be a dress, but I prefer it tucked into a bodycon skirt and pulled out slightly to give a baggy/voluminous look. I added the tights to give the outfit a bit of fun/variety. I wore it with my army boots and chunky grey socks, a grey cardie, my snood and winter coat so I was nice and toasty on the walk over.

I have a fun but busy week ahead of me - Online report's due in Tuesday, so I'm spending tonight and tomorrow finishing that bad boy off, and Tuesday night, a friend from uni invited me to go see Frankie Boyle in the Echo Arena - like I'm gonna turn that down! I know he's in the press at the moment for the controversial comments he made towards Katie Price's son, Harvey, but I'm hoping he doesn't bring that up in the show as I still like him as a stand up.
We finally finish uni on Thursday, so we're all coming into town to Scream for a big lunch and a good drinking session. It's about bloody time since we haven't been out as a uni group at all and we're half way through our second year! I'm looking forward to it though, should be fun!

This week has been such a mad rush for me; I've been trying to recover from a cold/eye infection (I hate when something goes wrong with my eyes, I always start panicking and freaking out), make it into uni and sort things out for Christmas - me trying to be organised is Hell on Earth!

I'm aware 99% of the people on this website don't care for wrestling as a sport, but I adore it and Jack made me so proud last night - I went to Hindley with Stacey to watch GPW - Guts and Glory (a British wrestling company), where Jack was drawing the raffle and had a front row seat so they could interview him about losing his last match at GPW, and being unable to gain a roster place. We sat front row with him, it was pretty fun but I felt like I was sort of "on show" on the front for whatever reason. His interview came before the match for the GPW British title, where Jack Gallagher, who beat him last time, was fighting. Halfway through the match, Jack Gallagher comes over, starts shouting at Jack, slaps him and they brawl, pulling him over the guardrail and into the ring! I had no idea this was going to happen so you can imagine my face throughout this! Anyway, my Jack gets beaten up and thrown out the ring. Thinking that was it for him, I calmed down until I see him hop back in and get the last pin for the title!
I couldn't believe it actually happened! He's the youngest person to hold the GPW British Title, which is such a prestigious title, I'm so proud of him :D
Anyway, this is the outfit I had planned to wear last night, but changed the skirt to treggings, as it was hideously bitter out:

I don't like how a lot of people are wearing these tights with denim shorts and little tiny outfits, especially in Winter, but I personally think it looks more respectable if you don't show them off completely; or maybe that's just the grandmother in me talking!

What do you think of these tights - too Taylor Momsen? Or can they look good with the right kind of outfit?

This is me trying to show off my new dark hair - I haven't had it this dark for soo long, I love it!

I'm feeling pretty bad that I haven't posted anything new and exciting for over a week; I blame uni and the joys/stresses of Journalism, I just haven't stopped!
We have two court readings to do in Reading Week, but me and my friends have decided we'd rather do it next Friday, so we can relax in Reading Week instead!
Also, I got myself a job interview on the 2nd November! I'm really happy, especially as I only handed my cv in there on a whim, I'm just hoping the hours available will be flexible enough for me :)

Anyway, It's my birthday on the 1st November, and I'm turning 21! So I may be feeling generous enought o do a little giveaway for you lovely ladies over that week! It will only be something small, but will include my HG items, especially for the Winter :)
