Please excuse me for being so original and posting yet another photo catch-up
thingyjig, but I will have more interesting things on here after Christmas as I'm getting a new camera, maybe Christmas Day if I can prise myself off the couch to do an outfit post complete with turkey food baby!

- The moon's been so big and pretty out my window lately
- Nachooos with the bestie. We polished off two pitchers after this, fatties forever.
- Couple of cheeky Lush purchases; this shampoo's amazing, it contains Hops so it makes my hair really smooth and frizz-free, which is brilliant. The Tea Tree toner has been helping even out my skin tone, I spray it on after cleansing and then rub in some Rescue Oil (a poor man's Bio Oil but it works just as well!) which you can get in Bodycare, Superdrug, Home Bargain for no more than £4.
- One of my besties got me a Snow Fairy Lush set for my birthday, which I have been trying to use sparingly as Snow Fairy is pretty hard to get hold of. Makes my skin so soft and smells amazing, I'm yet to try out the Angel's Delight soap which has the cutest pattern inside, and Shimmy Shimmy glitter bar but they smell soo nice ^_^
- My cousin turned 18 last week so we had a little family meal to celebrate. Here I am thinking I'm all artsy using Instagram, taking a photo of a candle, oooh am I allowed to call myself a photographer yet? (sarcasm)

- As everyone is I'm sure, I'm looking forward to the next week, hopefully hearing back from a few important things I can't really mention yet as it's not apropriate, but they may lead to better things in 2012, so fingers crossed!
- One thing I really dislike about this month is how stupidly busy it gets in town - it's like trying to dodge a herd of wilderbeast in the wild :| Not my cuppa tea at all, so I've done the majority of my present buying online. Thinking I was safe, oh no. Got several emails saying my parcels will be delivered slightly late; one has an estimate date of 7th Jan 2012. Bullhonky! I'm hoping they will be on my doorstep by Thursday so I can wrap etc. And sadly I'm braving the wilderbeast on Monday as I still haven't picked up my new lenses, the things I do for better eyesight!
- My friend's band is having a gig on the 22nd, and we're all going out drinking and dancing after; one night that is sure to be awesome, we haven't all been out since my birthday, so we have a lot of missed nights out to make up for! I'm hoping that no horrendously hammered photos of me, with a stringy fringe and ladders in my tights, trying to climb on my poor friend's back will emerge, but we shall see haha
- My mum and dad put our Christmas tree up last week, no photo as I'm a dumbum and forgot, but this is ground-breaking news - they normally have a little tiff over the tree as my dad likes it with bright lights, tinsel, the works, whereas my mum likes it simple, and everything colour-coordinated, no tinsel. But she's gave in and it looks really nice! Photo up soon, but you can guess how it looks, it's a tree, with lights...

Which side are you on - the more tinsel the better? or is your tree a tinsel-free zone?

This outfit is actually from Tuesday, only because I wore it to go the Wethers with some friends but I took photographs of it in the day after uni.
Jack says I look like a little sailor boy in it, but I love it :) I know I'm kinda late on the ol' Peter Pan collar trend, but I don't really care.

Top - New Look; Jeans - Primark; Jewellery - Anchor Rose/Vivienne Westwood/Dorothy Perkins/Handmade

Nothing to tell since my last post really. The person I complained about from uni in my last post hasn't shown up so today was nice and relaxed, no weird atmosphere! Went to town to pick up my lenses, and ym Specsavers has moved about four shops down... pretty weird :/ Plus the layout's totally confusing, I felt like an idiot asking at each desk if it was where I pick up lenses and being moved to the next one along.
Met up with Heather and Danni and we did abit of shopping too. I exchanged a top for some knee-high socks as mine have all gone bobbly in the wash, very sad times :(
Also got an intensive hair treatment as my ends are frazzled to death, a new foundation, St Ives scrub, a fantastic eye lash set for £1.99, and a Sleek nail varnish for £2.45 instead of like £5! I'll no doubt include these in a post sometime soon, when I can get decent photos again that is :)

I adore this necklace, it's hardly been off my neck all week and I've had so many compliments off it, people asking me where it's from, etc. I ordered it from the lovely Beth at Anchor Rose - she sells lots of cute little necklaces on her blog shop, it came really well wrapped and with a cute thank you note. Her blog is one I always look forward to reading, so please go have a peek :)

(Before I start, I apologise for the poor photo quality; the camera I was using just didn't want to focus ¬__¬ )

I went for a little nose around town yesterday with Heather and Andri, after a much needed Chinese buffet at Yum's, I swear I get embarrassed that the waiters know us in there!
I had promised myself I wasn't going to buy anything until I get paid, but as always that fell through straight away...
We popped into Resurrection, where I was faced with the sale rails as we walked up the stairs, and at the front of one of them was this jumper...

It's the cutest thing I've ever seen! As some of you may be aware I have a great love for penguins, so I couldn't resist! And at half off it was a bargain!
I'll be wearing it with chunky cable-knit tights and my military boots in the upcoming colder months.

I bought a new foundation from Superdrug as my Bourjois one is running low, and the coverage seems too light for me during winter, so wanted something a little heavier to cover my strange skin. I opted for Collection 2000's Lasting Perfection, as I already use the matching concealer which works wonders for under my eyes!
I chose shade no. 1, Vanilla as I didn't want to look like a satsuma, and it works really well, it gives the right amount of coverage without feeling like it's weighing down my face - and it really lasts.
I also picked up their waterproof Collagen Curl mascara, I'll be trying that out later.

I've heard wonderful things about Lush's Lip Scrubs, so I decided on the Bubblegum flavour, as I figured I'd get sick of the Mint and Chocolate one.

It's the yummiest thing ever; I used it last night before bed and then slathered lip balm once I'd licked this off, and woke up with ridiculously smooth lips. It cost £4.95, I think? But even though it's a small pot, it'll last ages, so it's worth the price tag!

What's your favourite product from Lush?

Despite the above photos of my lazy Sunday night, I've had a busy weekend yet again, so I've been unable to update or have a peek at anyone's latest posts, but I'll get round to that later tonight :)
The Sunday just gone was my last full day in work; my official last day's this Saturday, but I'm only working 11-3 so it's not that long a shift.
I've been at BHS for over three years, but my schedule for uni this year is more demanding than first year, so there's no way I can handle four days in uni, followed by two days in work, so I had to do something. Thankfully my boss was understanding and didn't mind as my uni work's clearly more important. She's also said there'll be a job waiting for me after I graduate, which is lovely of her. I know I'm gonna be pretty emotional on Saturday, especially with the people that I've known since I started there, I love them all!
Looking forward to having a big night out after payday though, should be fun! :)
I'm hoping to find a new job within the next month, even if it is just a temp job to tide me over Winter; just something with a couple of evening shifts so I can have my weekends back to go sho... I mean do my work properly, promise.

The Sunday before I go back to uni will be spent frantically panicking over the Shorthand outlines that've fallen out my head over the past four, five months, drinking copious cuppas and trying to remember the basic rules for Print. Nightmare!
So from Monday onwards I won't be posting as often as I have been over the holidays, but I'm gonna try and keep posting at least on a Friday, basically an update on my week, and a couple of outfit/haul posts to keep you guys interested!

Ooh alsoo, I cannot wait for 14 November - Deftones play Manchester, and I get to see my favourite band ever!
Seriously I can't believe just how excited I am to see them play live; I missed them play Liverpool in '07 and have been kicking myself ever since, until a new friend offered me a space in his "hardcoremobile" (car) to go see them! It won't be the same with Chi Cheng still recovering from his accident, but my god, it'll be sooo awesome!

Sorry for the fat amount of writing and me thinking I'm funny, but I'll try and get a quick post on what I bought in town today with Heather; nothing too exciting, but it pleased me!

Are any of you looking forward to going back to uni/school?
