Week in Photos

This is a pretty photo-heavy post from our Turkey holiday, I would apologise but there's so many more photos I wanted to put up, you'll see them if you link to my Facebook or Tumblr though :)

So far my week is looking pretty relaxed, so I'll be able to get up some posts I've been meaning to do - a few outfit posts, showing you some of the stuff I wore in Turkey in greater detail; there's a post on summer must-wears from Missguided; a review on the Body Shop tea tree face mask from a previous post; I might do a June favourites post too, abit unsure on that one though.

Is there anything you would like to see me post about? :)

I got home from Turkey at about half four yesterday morning, slept like a baby and then went to stay in Jack's, so I've not had much time to read through everyone's posts I've missed. I'm currently sat on my bed eating grapes and yoghurt, watching Geordie Shore (don't judge me, I love car-crash tv!) so I'll spend tomorrow morning commenting and the like :)
I'll leave you with a few photos but will do a more indepth post tomorrow for those who are interested :) Hope you're all well!

It arrived! :D I'm so happy I nearly hugged the courior man! I can't stop smiling, I feel so smug.
Couldn't think of a better time to post my 100th post either, today is so good. Thanks to everyone who crossed their fingers for me, think it worked!
Now I'm off to pack my suitcase and carry on bag, shower then go to Jack's and give him the amazing news ^_^

This is probably gonna be my last post til I come home on the 28th, but I look forward to catching up on everyone's posts when I'm back :)

Week in Photos

I'm cheating slightly as some of these photos are from the week before I was in Cornwall, just haven't had the chance to share them, doubt you'll mind!

- Playing round with my mum's camera, being vain. it makes me look quite red though, dunno how to use the different settings

- Went with Heather & Danni for a Nandos before Cornwall; medium chicken wings, garlic bread and Peri Peri chips, nom!

- We found a Heather-sized cash machine on the way to BaaBar!

- Last week's Graze box, all so nice think I demolished it that night. Use code C3MVH3H for a free trial box and your second half price

- The ring and bracelet I treated myself to in Perranport. The bracelet's quite long so when it drags across my arm I freak thinking it's a spider or a bug :/

- More empty products for my Project 10 Pan thing, I think I've gone over 10 items by now, but I'll just keep going, doing pretty well

- Our friend Donna moved to London so we went for a farewell meal to Big Bowl Noodle on Berry St, the guys in there know us cos we can't stop going! We all had Satay chicken w/ fried rice, yummy!
If you live in Liverpool please check it out, it's cheap, they do student discount and the portions are huge, I'm not joking!

- Hope's bosom was flashing in Hannah's Bar later that night...

- The gorgeous flowers in our front garden, haven't a clue what they're called but I like'em :)

- One of many cups of tea since being home. This mug is so cool, it's got a lid to keep it at the perfect temperature

- The Body Shop products I purchased using the Groupon voucher I got aaages ago - paid £12 for £30 worth of products. I used it on the very last day as I'd forgotten about it, oops!
I'm very happy with what I got and will do any reviews if you would like?

I'm currently flitting between tidying the house & packing my suitcase in the hopes my passport arrives in time for Turkey on Monday!
I had my interview, but my dad had to drive me to Blackburn as Liverpool's office had no free dates, typical for me! But I rang earlier and the man said it had been printed s should arrive over the weekend, I really hope it does as I'd be devastated if I couldn't go :( Fingers crossed you guys!

Are you going abroad this year? Anywhere nice? :)

I've not been feeling inspired over the last couple of weeks, I know a lot of people have said been feeling the same, at least I know I'm not alone. I don't feel I'm getting anywhere, I get up not wanting to do anything productive or anything that can help me in the long term for whatever reason, and I know it's not just my natural laziness rearing its ugly head, it's that I haven't really thought of any obvious goals I want to achieve.

This week has been my reading week off uni, but it's gone so fast I don't feel I've done anything worthwhile, mainly because I still haven't found a part-time job to tide me over until I graduate, which is frustrating as it's not like I haven't been trying. Places seem more interested in hiring people fresh out of high school with no idea of how to treat customers, how to deal with difficult situations and working in retail in general. No disrespect if you have a part-time job straight from high school, you're lucky to have it, it's just irritating when you have over three years experience working under a busy, harsh Customer Services environment. Just sucks that my hard work isn't wanted anywhere, and I mean
anywhere.

But onto happier things, I'm going to post my Friday Favourites each week in order to keep my blog rolling. Probably not the best time to start it as I begin my work placement next Friday for ten weeks, but I'll be doing my best to keep up! It'll include photos, quotes, things I've seen and done over the past week that have made me smile.
Nothing negative, just positive things!

I have a couple for this week but I'll keep it short an sweet for you!

Jack's just had some of the best news in the world, I'm not sure if I can talk about it yet, but when I do I'll be rambling on for a good while! I'm so proud of him, he's been working really hard towards his goals and future, and knows exactly what he wants to achieve in life. He's a really strong person and although he doesn't always know it, he motivates me to better myself and work towards my own goals, no matter how small they are.
All his hard work is going to pay off this year, I'm so proud and happy for him as it's what he deserves ^__^

Since I got my new phone I've hardly put it down. It's weird to get used to as it's a square, but I love it. I've been playing with the camera which as above it's pretty good, I need to fiddle with the settings though. I'll post a photo of it later in the week.

This Summer is going to be so good, I can't wait!
Booking my place on the girls holiday in Turkey for June later this week, so excited!
I've got quite a lot lined up - finish uni in May, Cornwall with Jack in early June, Turkey with the girls late June, France & Barcelona with the family.
Hopefully fit my work placement in there somewhere, along with bbq's, beach days, picnics and staying out late :)

Congrats if you got this far, I didn't realise how much I rambled and ranted on at the start, I'll be posting more positive things once I get back into the swing of it all :)
