I'm home from Leeds after what was the most tiring train journey ever, I'll blog about that in a sec though...

Let's face it - Emily Blunt is possibly the most eye-catchingly beautiful woman around. Her eyes are such a gorgeous colour it's impossible not to stare at them! She graces the September cover of UK Elle in a raunchy Valentino lace dress, and natters about not being a fan of frills and dresses as such, but of dressing edgy, and how she dislikes her photos being airbrushed. I've never bought Elle before, but I bought it purely to gawp at her photo set and lap up every word she said.

I was also reminded of the reason why I don't buy Elle - fucking ADVERTS :|
Wasn't a happy bunny skipping through endless pages just to find the Contents page.

A quick trip to town with Heather & Andri before Leeds tomorrow! Our train's at half 11, but it's only about an hour & a half away, meaning we get about two & a half days with Donna :)

Since I ran out of my Lee Stafford Hair Growth cream last month, it hadn't occurred to me to nip out and re-stock, and hearing that Boots currently have a 3 for 2 on most skincare products, I couldn't help myself, but I induldged in a little (or a lot, depending on how you see it) of the Soap & Glory products.

I was first introduced to S&G by a friend at work, who got me this gorgeous travel set for my Secret Santa present. I still adore the travel bag; it's so pretty!

Inside were travel-size products - Hand Food, Hair Supply conditioning masque, Girligo moisturising mist, Clean on Me body wash, The Righteous Butter, and Flake Away body scrub (which is currently in the bathroom)

I still have a good amount of each product, even though I use The Righteous Butter and Girligo almost everyday.

I've heard good things about Heel Genius, and Scrub Your Nose In It, so picked those up. For my third item, I went straight for a big tub of The Righteous Butter; so I knew I had enough to last me... and saw this set of three instead.


Considering they're currently £9.79 each on the Boots website, you'd be daft not to pick up the set of three! They all smell so yummy too, I can't wait to use them later!

Over the past six months or so I've also picked up a huge Clean On Me as I love the smell of it, and how soft it makes your skin, so my S&G collection's pretty big right now; I'm tempted to keep it all out like this - I love the kitsch pink packaging so much!

I went to H&M after work on Saturday, and picked up a couple of slouchy vests - £3.99 each, absolute bargain since they'll go with everything! H&M's usually where I initially go for basics and slouchy stuff, but they're amazing for key pieces too.

Wanted to put up some new outfits as I've lived in those vests this weekend. I've added a photo of the playsuit I bought again from H&M earlier this year - hands down the comfiest thing I could pull from my wardrobe.
Despite Jack telling me I look about 5 in it, I love it to pieces :)

My girl crushes are coming in thick and fast; faster than I had ever expected them to, but ah well :)
Ellie Goulding's the newest face on my list; I didn't enjoy her first song - Starry Eyed, not quite sure why it just irritated me.
But I've taken the time to listen to the rest of her album, Lights, and all I can say is wow.
It's the exact kind of music I'm into atm; happy, flowy music you can just drift off to...
The fact she's really down-to-earth on the interviews I've seen/read, and that she's soo cute only aids her.

My favourite song of hers atm is This Love (Will Be Your Downfall) - despite the actual meaning behind the lyrics, it's so dreamy, you can't help but smile when you listen to it :)

Had a little trip to town with Heather and Andri today... didn't exctly turn out how we had hoped, but hopefully everything will be fine :)

Picked up a couple of bargains in the New Look sale;

This white/blue anchor dress - it was the last in the store so I got it for a mere £5, which was great since I've been eyeing it up online for quite some time. Planning on wearing it with tights, grey cardigan and a thin belt to pull it in slightly.

Second bargain was this floral dress; I don't have many floral items in my wardrobe, and with it being in the sale it's the perfect time to change that (and it has pockets, which is always a bonus IMO). Again, I'll wear it with tights, black lace-up boots, or black flats and a long cardigan in the winter.

I wore the jumper that arrived yesterday morning from the New Look website; comfiest thing I've worn for a while - would suggest getting one for the Winter.

Today I wore it with black tights, denim shorts as the sun kept poking out, and black lace-up boots. I was also happy to not have to carry my hoody round as it's soo big, but the jumper kept me warm all day.

Now I'm off to Jack's for a lazy night in, I'll probably post another outfit tomorrow :)

Flicking through the Sunday Times this morning, I read an article about this band, O Children.

Never heard of them before, but when I listened to them I got really excited; I love Tobi O'Kandi's eerily dark voic mixed with the elecrto/industrial elements of the songs - reminded me of Justin Warfield, singer for She Wants Revenge.

Anyways, their song, Dead Disco Dancer is too good to take off, but I listened to it so many times that the guitarist whispering "The disco dance is dead", freaked me out; Lame I know...

But you shoul definitely check them out, they're one to be watched.

Ok, new girl/clothes crush time...

On my way home from Jack's this afternoon, I happened to buy about four magzines, cream soda and plenty of Buttons to keep me occupied this evening. In most of the magazines were photos of Dree Hemingway, the great-grand-daughter of Ernest Hemingway.

She's a ballerina-model, and without a doubt the new It girl to keep an eye on.

I like her simple outfits and bed hair; unoriginal but somehow it looks fresh on her.
